ShadowClock does not collect, store, or transmit any personal data. There are no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no network requests to any server.

The app uses your device’s location (with your permission) solely to compute the sun’s position for the current time and place — this calculation happens entirely on your device and is never sent anywhere.

The app uses your device’s camera (with your permission) only to display an augmented-reality view for aligning the virtual sundial with a real object’s shadow. Camera data is processed on-device by Apple’s ARKit and is not recorded, stored, or transmitted.

Testing is distributed via Apple’s TestFlight, which independently collects crash logs and feedback under Apple’s own privacy policy: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/
